About us....
The PTA/Friends of St Patrick's is a group of parents who meet to organise fundraising events for the school. Every parent/guardian of a child at St Patrick's is eligible to be a member of the PTA/Friends of St Patrick's. We meet about once a month, usually at Elland Cricket Club, and information about these meetings is generally forwarded to parents via the back of the weekly menu. Events are advertised by posters displayed around school or by the website.
We raise funds so that we can help to contribute towards a variety of things that will benefit our children. Each year we make a donation towards the annual whole-school trip, Christmas outing and also make contributions towards the cost of equipment within the school. Most recently, this has involved a donation of £1500 towards resources for our school reading scheme.
The PTA has also made valuable contributions to:

nursery resources - £500
Most recently we have donated
£1000 towards the trim-trail
£70 for a camera for Class 1
£170 for a Bee-bot starter pack for Class 1
£200 for indoor games for the whole school.
To enable us to do all this, we plan many events through out the year, ranging from the very popular Quiz Nights to the Spring/Summer Fayre.
